Title: Senior Clinical Research Manager Location: Minneapolis, MN Department: Clinical Affairs Type: Full-time Overview We are a fast-growing medical device company developing innovative technologies with the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes. The team is building a robust clinical program to generate the evidence required for regulatory approval and commercialization. Position Summary The Senior Clinical Research Manager (Sr. CRM) will lead the planning, start-up, and execution of clinical studies supporting regulatory submissions and commercialization efforts. This role will provide operational leadership across early feasibility, pivotal, and post-market studies, including vendor and CRO oversight, budget and timeline management, and ensuring compliance with global regulations. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic and executional strength in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day clinical trial operations across all study phases (feasibility, pivotal, post-market) Manage study timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure programs are delivered on schedule Oversee site selection, qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities in partnership with CRAs and CROs Develop and maintain study plans, including monitoring plans, risk management plans, and trial-specific SOPs Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, ISO standards, FDA, and international regulatory requirements Serve as primary liaison between clinical sites, CROs, vendors, and internal stakeholders Oversee key study documents including protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, and clinical study reports Drive patient enrollment and collaborate with investigators to support study progress Ensure data integrity through oversight of data entry, query resolution, and database lock Support regulatory submissions with clinical data and documentation Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and notified bodies Mentor and support junior clinical team members Qualifications Advanced degree in life sciences, clinical research, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered 12 years of clinical research experience, including 6 years in clinical trial management Experience with Class II/III medical devices preferred Strong understanding of clinical trial regulations (GCP, ICH, ISO standards, FDA, international regulations) Proven experience managing CROs, vendors, and study budgets Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability Willingness to travel up to 30–40% Why Join Opportunity to contribute to high-impact clinical programs Exposure to innovative medical technologies Competitive compensation, including salary and bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package Collaborative and flexible work environment
