This contract position offers a chance to apply your specialized skills in vascular, orthopedic, and Da Vinci surgical cases while working a consistent schedule focused on patient safety and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient status during surgeries and manage equipment and supplies efficiently. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards. Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative activities, including patient assessment and documentation. Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as needed, with occasional floating within the OR. Desired Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience as an RN (Operating Room) in a hospital environment. Proven expertise in vascular, orthopedic, and Da Vinci robotic surgery. Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license required upon submission. Current AHA BLS certification. Strong communication and critical-thinking skills. Schedule: 8-hour day or evening shifts, 40 hours/week. Weekend rotation and holiday shifts as needed. No on-call responsibilities. Limited return-to-office (RTO) days capped at 7.
