As a *Registered Nurse (RN) in Waconia, *you will be responsible for the delivery of individualized patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.*Minimum Education and Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) - CICU/Tele:** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing*CICU/Tele RN License/Certifications** Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota or if licensed in another state, a permit from the Minnesota Board of Nursing while the license application is in process* TNCC or successful completion of trauma education that meets the requirements of he state trauma system within one year of hire* BLS Certification*Preferred Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN) - CICU/Tele** Bachelor's degree in Nursing* Telemetry or CICU nursing experience*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities for a RN - CICU/Tele** Demonstrate critical thinking and decision making* Ability to work autonomously and as a team* Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills* Ability to work and multi-task in a high stress and fast paced environment* Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations* Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above*Your Role*:As a CICU/Tele nurse, you'll be at the forefront of healthcare, assessing patient health problems and needs. Your key responsibilities will include:* Assessing patient health problems needs and developing, implementing and evaluateing patient care plans accordingly.* Providing nursing care.* Advising and educating patients, family members and significant others on health maintenance and disease prevention for the patient.* Documenting and maintaining accurate medical records and reports.* Participating in quality improvement activities as appropriate to position.* Serving as a patient advocate in seeking appropriate community resources to meet patient needs.* Interacting with and contributing to the professional development of peers, other healthcare providers, and colleagues to enhance own professional nursing practice.* Demonstrating competencies in the specialty area of Emergency.* Performing other duties as assigned.*Join Our Team*:This isn't just a job; it's a calling.
