About the Job
Position OverviewThe Minnesota Grow Your Own Teachers Program
(MNGOT) in the Multiple Pathways to Teaching (MPT) office, College
of Education and Human Development (CEHD) has openings for
temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative
(P&A) clinical supervisor positions, paid on a per candidate
basis, and appointed as Teaching Specialist/Lecturer. These
appointments are typically arranged semester by semester or summer
and employment is contingent upon the program meeting its
enrollment target.Applications are reviewed as openings occur, and
individual applicants are invited to interview when their skills or
areas of expertise match an opening. This posting is designed to
establish a pool of instructors. Applications will not be
acknowledged, but will be reviewed when such openings occur
throughout the academic year.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited
to, clinical supervision of teacher candidates in field experience
and student teaching. We seek to hire individuals who are
interested in teaching and/or supporting clinical supervision
throughout the program. The syllabi have already been developed and
we require that instructors use these as they are part of an
