Credit Manager

Location: Minneapolis

Job type: Full time

Schedule: Standard Daytime hours, Monday-Friday

Salary: $102,000 - $135,000

*Compensation for this position includes annual salary, 20% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.



What You'll Do

Lead and manage the credit function for Viking Electric to meet established objectives and provide the support necessary for the sales department to attain sales and profitability goals.

You will...

• Lead and manage the credit team including hiring, onboarding, training and performance management
  
• Assure prompt evaluation and response to new account applications
  
• Monitor credit limits for assigned accounts handle all credit limit changes and collection activities
  
• Effectively respond to inquiries from customers, associates and outside organizations on customer accounts
  
• Contribute, support and participate in Sonepar credit team activities including monthly calls and annual meetings.
  
  
  What You Bring
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  
• 4 year degree in business related field or equivalent experience
  
• 5 - 10 years of progressively responsible credit management experience
  
• supervisory experience in the construction industry is preferred.
