Director Product Design, UX Field(Remote Or Hybrid The pay range
is $141,600.00 - $254,900.00Pay is based on several factors which
vary based on position. -These include labor markets and in some

touchpoint.About the job:As a Director of UX for the Field
teamyou'll serve a group of about 15 designers and design managers
responsible for Target's team member -tools that power our Store &
Supply Chain operations. These tools includemobile and desktop
applications used by hundreds of thousands of people in Stores,
Warehouses and at HQ to run Target's $100B business.Success for
this leader requires the ability to understand Target's priorities
and partner with a broad set of stakeholders to establish design &
experience direction. Day to day you'll ensure your teams have what
they need to thrive and deliver great work. This includes hiring,
advocacy, operating routines, insights, design direction, partner
awareness, and a collaborative and inclusive culture.You will build
trust and -partner proactively with UX, Product, Process, Tech &
Business stakeholders to set the stage for your team to achieve
exceptional outcomes. You are curious, ask questions, and are
driven to connect the dots across complex domains. As an
experienced practitioner within complex, highly matrixed
organizations, you will seek to co-create strategies with
cross-functional partners and believe we are better building on
each other's strengths, while ensuring your team delivers high
quality craft with efficiency and speed. You are adept at using
data to articulate your rationale, are a clear communicator, can
explain recommendations with authority and openness, and are
comfortable advocating for design with partners and leaders. You
have a demonstrated ability to build relationships and create
impact through multiple levels of leadership including other
Directors, Sr. Directors, and VPs and can maintain both drive and
patience throughout the journey.As an experienced leader of people,
you will coach, mentor, and guide a team of people leaders and ICs,
helping them to grow and develop new skills, while increasing
trust, transparency, and engagement. You have a demonstrated
ability to strengthen both your own team and the overall UX
organization and can thoughtfully scale your team with the right
structures, roles, and responsibilities. You are comfortable
leading through change and ambiguity and building a community of
practice in a remote world.About you:12+ years of experience in
ux/digital product design with a strong understanding of how to
leverage designers and design process to deliver exceptional
experiences and outcomes at scaleFoundational understanding of and
the role of enterprise tools in retail operations or similarly
complex applications that include physical and digital
touchpoints5+ years of experience in people leadership with
demonstrated experience in hiring, leading, and coaching high
performing, cross-geography or remote teams. Experience managing
teams of 15 or more a plusAbility to balance short-term and
long-term thinking while raising quality and team
performanceProactively identify and resolve issues that may impair
the team from meeting strategic, business, or financial goalsStrong
data-driven visual, verbal, and written story-telling skills with
ability to bring partners alongExperience successfully managing
many stakeholders through all phases of the design processThis
position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally
at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on
Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member
worksfull-time from home oran alternatelocation that's not a Target
location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel
to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work
arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed
either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what
your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot
be performed outside of the country of the primary work location,
