Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A center-based behavior program is seeking a dedicated
Special Education Teacher to support students requiring intensive
behavioral interventions and assistance with reintegration into
general education settings. This role is based in a middle school
environment in Elk River, MN, serving primarily 2nd through 5th
graders, with occasional involvement of students from kindergarten
through 5th grade. Responsibilities include: Managing a caseload of
approximately 10 students with diverse disabilities, including
Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Other Health Disabilities
(OHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and visual impairments
Delivering individualized instruction within a center-based
classroom setting Collaborating closely with a team of seven
educational assistants to maintain a high staff-to-student ratio,
enhancing support for students Facilitating student reintegration
into mainstream classrooms throughout the school day Monitoring and
documenting student progress and behavioral development
Qualifications and experience desired: Bachelors or Masters degree
in Special Education Valid Minnesota State Special Education
teaching licensure Experience working with students who have
behavioral challenges and diverse learning needs Ability to develop
and implement behavior intervention plans effectively Strong
communication and teamwork skills to work alongside staff and
families Location and program details: Position located in a middle
school setting in Elk River, MN Contracted for the current school
year within a center-based behavioral support program This
