Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks
dedicated educators skilled in teaching students with visual
impairments within a K-12 school setting. The position involves
working with students who have vision disabilities, often
accompanied by secondary or tertiary disabilities, providing
specialized instruction and support across multiple educational
centers. Position Details: Role: Visually Impaired Teacher (TVI),
special education focus Location: Plymouth, MN Schedule: Full-time,
40 hours per week Duration: Contract through June 5, 2026, starting
ASAP Caseload: 25-30 students with visual impairments and
additional disabilities Work Sites: 3-4 buildings, including North,
South, and West Education Centers Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) required
Experience working with students who have visual impairments and
multiple disabilities Ability to manage and deliver instruction
across several school sites Strong organizational skills and
individualized educational planning expertise Familiarity with
assistive technologies and accommodations for visually impaired
students Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized
education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' vision-related
needs Provide direct instruction in Braille, orientation and
mobility, and adaptive skills Collaborate with special education
teams, classroom teachers, and families to support student learning
Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor progress of all students on
caseload Facilitate smooth transitions and coordinate services
across multiple education centers This contract role offers a

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.50 to $50.50.
