About the Job
The Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in the College
of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time Teaching
Specialist (job code 9754) in Arabic to teach Arabic language
courses during academic year 2023-24 (August 28, 2023 - May 28,
2024). This is a 100% time benefits-eligible position. Teaching
load is 3 courses per semester. This appointment is annually
renewable based on need, funding, and

About the DepartmentHome to the arts, social sciences and
humanities disciplines and programs, the College of Liberal Arts is
the largest college in the University of Minnesota and comprises 31
academic departments, and over 20 interdisciplinary research
centers and administrative/support units. CLA has over 1,300
faculty and staff spanning research, teaching, advising, outreach,
